How do you investigate a nail salon to see if they are properly disinfecting their supplies?

Almost every time I get a pedicure, one of my toes becomes red on one side and painful. How do I get them investigated or checked out to make sure they are properly sanitizing and disinfecting all their equipment between each client? How do you investigate a nail salon to see if they are properly disinfecting their supplies?
The BBB has absolutely no regulatory powers. Conducting investigations of this kind is not what they do. And, they are not a government agency, so they cannot do much at all for you in terms of legal action and investigations. To file a complaint about a nail salon, you have to go through your state's regulatory board - usually the Board of Cosmetology, or a name very similar to that. Here is a list of all 50 states, and the contact information for each state's board. Look up your state, find the contact information, and contact them. They are the people that you want to talk to, not the BBB. State boards handle complaints, and investigate them as well. They can take legal action against a salon if it is warranted. The boards have that legal authority to do this. The BBB does not have the authority to take any direct legal action against anyone because they are not a state, or federal agency. They are a private entity.

You can write a letter to the Better Business Bureau %26amp; they can send in an undercover. I have written them 2 letters in my life %26amp; both have worked.
i had that problem once i don't think they really clean their supplies good but i stated somewhere else doesn't that go against health guidelines find out how many complaints to the bbb if too many they will automaticly have them ionvestigated!!
