I'm wanting to open up a nail shop. What supplies do I need?

I am VERY good at doing manicures %26amp; nails. What supplies do I need? %26amp; Where can I get them? It would be best if I could most of them at walmart..

Also, with the cost of the supplies, about how much should I charge?

Thanks so much.I'm wanting to open up a nail shop. What supplies do I need?
shouldnt you know what supplies you'd need?

make a master list of stuff you want to get and compare prices with local beauty shops that sell the serious nail stuff you'd need, not just super glue and fake nails to glue on, and compare your list with say, walmart or something\

good luckI'm wanting to open up a nail shop. What supplies do I need?
Erm...For one, You need a Nail Tech license before you even touch a client.. For two, People aren't going to want to get their nails done by someone who uses cheap product. It's going to cost more than $200 to open up a Nail salon. You need Business license, and a Nail Tech license, along with all the equipment. You also need to be up to date, and have somewhere to put your salon.

Check with your town office, and your state board. They will help you with everything you need to know and get.
I'd say charge cheap, but not too cheap. Maybe around 拢15 or $15, you could do deals like have a card and then whenever the person comes and gets there nails done, stamp it or put a sticker on it say like 3 pedicures/manicures whatever and then when it's full, they get a free airspray tan or like 拢8/$8 off there next pedicure/manicure.

You will need stuff like this:

Acrylics

Natural Nail Manicures

Wraps and Fibreglass Nails

Gels

Nail Art

Airbrush Nails

Nail Jewelry

Pedicures

Waxing [ Would possibly get more customers. ]

Airbrush Tanning [ Would possibly get more customers. ]

Services for Male Clients [ Would possibly get more customers. ]

Nail Parties

Make sure you have a few assistants who are good at other stuff then nails, possibly family members. Maybe look around for apprentices, or people who have qualified and finished there beautician course.

Flyers, and ads in the newspapers. Ads in local shops, make sure you put your most good and cheap deals on there. This will attract customers.

http://www.idonails.com/shop/specials.ph鈥?/a> %26lt;- Most supply's are on this site, so you can write down what you'd need from there and have a look round walmart. Make sure the products you get from walmart are in good quality, if not. This will put more and more customers off, they want to be paying for good quality products. Not something they could do themselves at home.

Make your Nail salon look nice, with colourful posters, and make it basically look attractive. Have good furniture, and have very clean working areas. This will attract customers. A uniform is always good, it can be just a plain white top with a black cardigan, or a white cardigan with black trousers [ Nothing fancy is needed. ]

http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/produc鈥?/a> %26lt;- Possibly have wooden flooring. Or tiles

http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/produc鈥?/a> %26lt;- Stuff to hold magazines, nail magazines and newspapers. Keep the client busy while your dealing with someone else.

http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/produc鈥?/a> %26lt;- Basic seating.

The supply's are endless, but do not even have to be top designer stuff.

Make sure your shop gets around, like get your family members/friends to spread the word. Possibly do there nails, and then ask them to recommend them to their friends/family.
